Where to go on campus!

Entrance 1 – nearest to tram station Josef-Baumann-Gasse (it's a revolving door)

Dinner on Thursday – not on the campus! Information will be announced on Thursday at the meeting (Dress code: casual or traditional Austrian clothing)
Way from the city to the university
The most common way is taking the underground line U1 into the direction Leopoldau. At station Kagraner Platz you need to exit and take the tram, line 26 in the direction Strebersdorf

Depending on where you stay in Vienna, your way to the campus may look a little different.
Planning your Journey - Wiener Linien
The addresse of the university is Veterinärplatz 1, 1210 Vienna.The most common way is taking the underground line U1 into the direction Leopoldau. At station Kagraner Platz you need to exit and take the tram, line 26 in the direction Strebersdorf
The station “U1 Kagran” is under construction, therefore you need to go to station “U1 Kagraner Platz".
The tram station where you need to go to is called Josef-Baumann-Gasse. From there you can enter the Campus via Entrance 1 (see map). It is opposite from the grocery store Spar. It is a revolving door.General information:

- Buy your ticket: WienMobil Ticketshop online or at the subway station or on the tram.
Your way from the airport to the city
There are essentially three options:
- CAT: The city Airport Train is the fastest public transport option without any stops and ends in the city center at station “Wien Mitte-Landstraße”.

(Single ticket: 14,90€, Return ticket: 24,90€)
- City Train S7: The slower train leaving from the airport train station is the line S7 to the city center. It provides more stops than the CAT.
(tickets starting from 4,50€) - Taxi: There are official taxis available at the exit of the airport which will take you wherever needed. Starts with € 25,00. More Information in different languages.
- Bus: It is also easy to go by bus (starts with 10,50€ ). Best option if you are staying in one of our recommended Hotels (bus stops in front of the terminal building) More Information on the website
Coming by car
The addresse of the university is Veterinärplatz 1, 1210 Vienna.
You can enter the campus with the car via Entrance 2 (main entrance).
There are various parking spots on the campus which are all allowed to park on. The best parking spots are marked on the map.
Right before leaving the campus you will find a ticket machine on your right hand side. This is where you can pay for your parking ticket.
The first hour is free of charge
30 minutes cost 1.30 euros
60 minutes cost 2.50 euros
Day ticket (from parking time of 3.5 hours) costs 6.00 EUR
Parking is still free of charge at the following times:
Public holidays
Monday to Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Friday from 10:00 p.m. to Monday 6:00 a.m.
The fees are to be paid at the ticket machine next to the DA building in the direction of the exit.
